ISES International Special Event Society Canada (ISES Canada)
The International Special Event Society was founded by a small group of practitioners in 1987. Canada had its first Chapter – the fourth Chapter of ISES, in Toronto the following year. The goal of these inspired event entrepreneurs was to establish a 'society' that spoke to a wide spectrum of individuals working in the Social and Corporate event market. ISES is the association dedicated to the evolution of the Special Event industry and the people who work there.

ISES Canada provides a forum for event professionals in all disciplines across the country to network, learn, and exchange best practices with other event industry leaders from around the world. ISES Canada is one of three autonomous affiliates of ISES International.

Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs) CANSPEP
The Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs) is a nonprofit association that represents and fosters the educational and professional needs of people working in meeting management industry. Founded in Alexandria, Va., in 1982, AMPs has grown from being a handful of local meeting planners to a group of about 400 planner and service provider members from all over the United States.

At the core of the AMPs experience are the educational and networking programs created to provide members with the tools they need to be as successful as they can possibly be in the meeting planning industry.

MPI Meeting Professionals International (MPI)

Association of British Professional Conference Organisers Limited (ABPCO) ABPCO
The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers Limited (ABPCO) was founded in 1981 and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 1987.

ABPCO is the leading UK organisation for Professional Conference and Event Organisers, their industry associates and those studying for, or seeking, a career in the Conference and Meetings Industry.

PCMA Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA)
Professional Convention Management Association is based in Chicago and a leading organization for meeting and event professionals. PCMO represents more than 6,000 meeting industry leaders throughout the globe. With 17 chapters in the United States, Canada and Mexico, our members include planner and trade show/exhibit professionals, suppliers, faculty, students and Emeritus.

PCMA delivers superior and innovative education and promote the value of professional convention management. PCMA membership is nearly an even split between suppliers and professionals (54% professional; 46% supplier). Both types of members are comprised of people at all levels within their organization.

Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CANSPEP) CANSPEP
The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) is a dynamic, diverse and innovative society of Independent Event Professionals with a leading national voice in the event industry and is the only association in Canada that offers an exclusive membership to independent event planner entrepreneurs.

Association is formed in 1996, it provides forums in which members exchange ideas, develop skills through educational programs and create a public awareness around the profession of event planners. While membership is open to event planners only, the association offers industry suppliers an opportunity to showcase their products and services to our members through various advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

MPI International Medical Meeting Professionals Association (IMMPA)
The International Association for Medical Meeting Professionals is dedicated to promoting professionalism through advocacy, education, research and service. IMMPA's purpose is to provide conformity of medical meeting professional's education, training, certification and networking. IMMPA supports and promotes the medical meeting industry through peer directed and operated services, advocacy, career development, and global connections.
